We have released an update and added new features!
It has been 5 months since the launch of the platform WeMarry.io. We would like to thank you for your favor and feedback, which showed us that you are interested in our tool. Based on your suggestions, we have released a new version of our application and in this article we will introduce you to the news.
1. Simplicity
From the beginning, our goal has been to make wedding website creation and wedding planning with WeMarry as easy as possible. That's why we've improved the user interface so that you don't have to switch between your website and the guest list. You now have all the elements in one window under the WEDDING button. You will appreciate this change especially on a mobile device, and you are therefore sure that you can edit your website at any time and from anywhere.
2. Your site = Your style
We don't want to offer thousands of templates like others do. We have 3 for you so far, but in the new version we have added the possibility to change the colors of the templates according to your taste. To keep it simple, when you change one color, WeMarry will make sure it matches the others. So you won't have the colors blend together and the website will be unreadable. We are still working on the ability to change fonts.
p.s. In the Style / Properties tab of the current template, you can find the option to hide some decorative elements in the templates, such as doves, flowers and others...
3. We would like to...
Wedding gifts don't always have to be just in an envelope. That's why we've added the option to create a list of material wishes you have in the wedding gifts section. When guests fill out the form, they can reserve a specific gift. At that moment, the item on the list will be crossed out and shown as reserved, so that you do not receive the same gift more than once.
4. Invited only
Just like at your wedding, you only want those closest to you on your wedding website. That is exactly why we added the option in the Editor, in the Settings tab, to set your site as private. Thanks to this, your website will only be accessible after entering a password. In that case, guests no longer need to fill in the password for the RSVP form. In the case of a non-public website, you can send guests a personalized link with which the password will be filled in automatically. If you leave your site public, the same password will apply to unlock the form.
5. Beautiful in every situation
For a better idea of how your wedding website will look on different devices, we have added a button to the Editor to preview the website on a computer or mobile device. Thanks to this function, you can edit a website on your mobile and see its preview at the same moment. In addition, thanks to this, you can edit your website on your mobile and see its preview at the same moment.
Overall, we tried to simplify the whole process even more. We have also prepared the ground for a lot of other functions that we plan to gradually add in the coming months. Don't worry, all updates will be available to all our users regardless of when you signed up. We will be happy if you let us know your opinion or report any bugs so that we can constantly improve WeMarry.
